TB Awareness & Screening at Colombo Fort Railway Station
The National Programme for Tuberculosis Control and Chest Diseases (NPTCCD), in collaboration with the Colombo Chest Clinic and the Colombo Municipal Council, conducted a TB awareness and screening program at Colombo Fort Railway Station, the busiest railway hub in Sri Lanka.
This initiative aimed to raise awareness about TB and provide free screening to commuters and station staff, highlighting the importance of early detection and treatment. By bringing TB services to high-traffic public spaces, we take another step toward a TB-free Sri Lanka!
